Biz Trip to Jakarta - 18th till 20th Jan 2010

Hotel Setup - Oakwood Jakarta

Grade: 7.5/10
Reasons:
(1) Very Convenient and accessible - near to the Town area
(2) Customer Service quality & Promptness ~ 9/10
(3) Full Facilities (Apartment Setup)



Area to be improved:
(1) Separate the smoking rooms from the non-smoking rooms (common for every Hotel)
(2) Business Centre - without a printer
(3) Printer @ the lobby used are BBJet type, should change to laser printer - took me almost 20 minutes to print out 16 slides.

Lunch - Indonesia Nasi Padang

Pk. Tom brought us a local Nasi Padang restaurant for lunch today. I had very long hours on the road today. I managed to take a few pics on the variety of dishes put in front of us!!

Dinner @ The Pancake Parlour

I had a very late dinner. After the customer visits, was rushing back to clear my e-mails. Gotten lotsa calls from customers also on some of the orders and issues that need to be resolved. The minute I checked in on Monday, I saw the 'Pancake Parlour' restaurant. I thought they had copied the name from the Australia 'Pancake Parlour', but later did I find out, it is actually, a francise restaurant from Australia. I had the Smoke Beef - Savoury Pancake. Grade: 5/10. Nothing very fantastic. I think Hubby will comment that my home-made savoury pancake that I normally prepare for him tasted better?? *BLINK*BLINK*...ahhaha

Dessert Place named 'Sour Sally' @ Pacific Place Mall

After dinner at Sari Kuningan restaurant, our distributor brought us to this place for dessert. Indonesia is crazy about Yogurt right now. This is a must try dessert and after dinner thingy you must do in Indon. Apparently, there are also a few other brands in Indon market.

The dessert place was in 'Pacific Place Mall', quite similar to Ion kinda Shopping Mall in Spore.

Be-early Birthday Celebration for my Boss....

It will be my Boss Bday on 20th Jan 10!! We had a pre-celebration with him, as I will be going separate ways to our customer visits. Both Boss and PK will be taking an earlier flight... **SOB**SOB**. Thought I was able to get back to family dinner tomorrow night, but will only touch down at SIN2140. Anyway, I planned a surprise cake cutting 'Ceremony' for him together with PK, another colleague of mine that came together to Jakarta. Glad that Boss was surprised by our 'Little Touch'. He shared with us his Bday Wish and we had 2 slices of the "President Cake". I bought the cake just beside our hotel; 'Ranch Market'. It tasted yummy. Thank you Boss, for being so understanding to me, and being so accomodating at times. Hope that your Bday wishes will all come true this year!! All the Best!

After searching around almost every street of Muar for the air-con shop...all of us were tired. Ag suggested to have the 'MUST TRY' Satay in Muar!! But we ended up eating fried oyster, Wanton Noodles & Otahs as well!!

29th Dec 2009: Handburger - Lunch with CP

CP & I were on half day leave that day - we planned to get our winter wear clothing together. I bought lotsa clothes that day!!! We had our lunch at 'The Handburger". It is a sister company of 'The Soup Spoon'... Love their burgers, especially their fries and also the tomatoes spread serve beside the burger. They even have a hook below the tables for you to hang your handbags!! That was terrific! These pics were took in 313 somerset shopping centre..
