Felicia Chin breaks down

31st Aug 2009 - Felicia Chin's Plastic Surgery Rumours??

As usual, I will be checking my e-mail immediately everyday when I arrived at work. I just want to reply to all my customers immediately on their queries. As I had updated my laptop to "WINDOWS 7" on Saturday (THANKS TO POM AGAIN)....I've forgotten to make a back up for all my mails (outlook) over past 4 months (Previously - OS : Windows Vista ..which I had banned my laptop for being "host" for it...heheehehe) AIKS!!!! Since, I have to reinstall my Microsoft Outlook, (the new "Outlook" had been retrieving my e-mail over the past 2 weeks only!!!) then I took time to browse the latest uploaded yahoo news...as usual I will only read the headlines...

I came upon a news on this poor Star from mediacorp...Apparently the media is still bugging her with her recent ongoing rumours of plastic surgery.... I personally do not watch mediacorp's drama. Most of the time, if given time to watch TV program, I will tune in to my Starhub cable TV... My Fav program will be Channel 55 (all the HK Dramas), Discovery Channel - 12, and also Travel & Living - 16. But I do tune in some Channel 8 or U programs at time, especially the first episode of Felicia's interview with some Local Fashion designers (The program - "Fashion Asia" is about Fashionable tips on how to look effortlessly stylish in a mix and match of the right apparels and accessories. I had also watched and catched, how Felicia develops from a "Green" artist to a well-groomed and experienced actress. I believe she has put relentlessly good effort in her career. But on the sadder note, stars normally will be bombarded by media with attacks and rumours.

In the yahoo news, it was mentioned that she tearfully broke down in the face of hosts Quan Yifong and Guo Liang's constant interrogations about the ongoing rumours about her alleged plastic surgery.
There was a portion in the news that goes like this: "Before Celebritea Break closed for the night, Felicia's mood fluctuated and the actress was nearing a breakdown. Tears started to roll down her cheeks as she commented, "You guys have asked me a lot of questions that I do not know how to answer Sometimes I feel that I am not suitable for this line of work There are a lot of things going on in my mind and I don't really know how to express them."
I believe, she was not the only victim in the entertainment world...Why not, let's just put it this way, that this world is just very realistic... in the entertainment industry, there are fame, status, there is also a thing that is unavoidable - rumours... I believe this will not be Felicia's stumbling block. A encouraging note for Felicia: " Don't give up, just because of this one time hit...it does not mean that you will need to withdraw... This should be a stepping stone for you....for you to glow from glory to glory....you should be stronger after this wave...
Pastor Kong also did wrote an article on his blog previously. I believe every single one has their own way of defining plastic surgery... I agree with what Pastor Kong had wrote about his view about plastic surgery...(Is Plastic Surgery a Matter of Vanity?: http://www.konghee.com/www/2009/07/is-plastic-surgery-a-matter-of-vanity/)

Water Baptism for Jayesh & Lewin

30th Aug 2009 - Sunday - JW CHC

The Above Pictures were all taken by my friend: Pom Figueroa

The below were pictures taken by my Hp Cam (Samsung D880)

We had a great service with Rev. Phil Pringle in the morning....it was such a phenomenon...his msges are always simple, but yet the presence of God is always very strong ...there is always impartation from the word that delivered out from his mouth...I believe Rev Phil is greatly being anointed by God. His msges are always about faith, Holy Spirit, prayer, which are all the basic foundation of Christianity... that normally most of us did not pay much attention in the midst of our busyness...I love reading his recent blog: Defeated by laziness. It goes like this.... (taken from his blog: http://philpringle.wordpress.com/)

"Proverbs 22:13 ‘The lazy man says, “there is a lion outside! I shall be slain in the streets!”‘.
The unwilling have no faith. Courage comes to the willing hearted. There’s always a way through but the lazy soul, the unwilling spirit will never find it.
How selfish is the lazy heart! If there was a lion, we should go out & slay it. ‘Solve the problem”‘. Don’t make it an excuse for inaction. The lazy person is more concerned about themselves than others.
The lazy person invents problems that don’t even exist to excuse themselves from work. Jesus told us to release ‘workers’ into the harvest because people who work hard will reap the harvest & destroy the devils work in the process.
Lets go to work!"

Immediately after the service, we all rushed down to Jurong West, Church, for Lewin and Jayesh's water baptism...We were so excited for them...Almost everybody in the CG went down to show our utmost support to the both of them...
I brought along my camera too that morning...wanting to take a few good pictures for the entire event....I took a cab with Kate, and the rest of the members took another cab and we rushed down to JW St 91 from Clementi MRT, since taking cab in Expo MRT was just too difficult...I remembered that I had placed back my digi cam into my sling bag after taking a few pics for Kate in the cab...but...when we were having our quick lunch at L4 in our JW church, I found that my Digi cam was not in my bag...sad to say that after a prolonged search in the church by some members and I....I still failed to find it...I left my contact no and name with the church lost and found department, and also called "SMRT", "Comfort" lost and found to try my "LUCK"...but still failed to get response up till today...*SIGH*...I shared with hubby bout my sadness...but instead of hubby being disappointed and upset with me about me losing the cam that he bought for me, he encouraged me, and promised to get me another new camera...

If any reader found a T77 (SONY) - Digi Cam...and saw my pictures, kindly revert back in the comment column....That was the camera that hubby bought for me....less than a year...*SIGH*....well...I still praise the Lord...even though I lost that Camera...I still enjoyed my entire day with my members, and knowing God has blessed me with a good hubby that never fail to bless me again and again....Love you hubby....muakss...
I had taken some pictures using my Hp Cam - Samsung D880 and took some pictures of Jayesh & Lewin...Thank God that 2 of my members brought their cameras and took all the picture throughout the entire event.

Blood Donation 2009 - Riverwalk

23rd Aug 09 - Sunday

It was another year went by ....wow..how time flies...Almost every year we have the blood donation thingy....This year in blood donation, Me, Ada, kate and kean had submitted our names to commit in donating our blood. But me and kate were sick, and as we were on medication, we were not allowed to donate our blood...sob sob... Ada was really a brave gal...it was her first time donating blood together with us this year. She went through all the 4 stations -Taking Q No., registering, seeing Doc and Blood testing, but she failed to donate her blood at the final stage. The nurse mentioned to her that they couldn't find her vein, and that was why she could not donate her blood...she was a little disappointed...but yet I find her brave enough to at least try out for her first time....We promised that we will make sure that we are fit enough to donate the next round. In the end, Kean was the only person from our CG that was donating that day. He mentioned that this time, he was served by a very experienced nurse. Previously he did have some funny encounters with other nurses ....but they were still the "good" encounters...ehhe

Took a picture, while waiting for Ada to register her name...

We had Ba Kut Teh Before the donation...hmm...it was after Kean's donation but before Ada's visit to station 3 - Doctor's consultation.

The yum yum pork ribs....

All of us. Taegun left us ...as he had another appointment ...and he rushed off before our Late lunch. Sherly & Jayesh could not join us, as they were at Phuket having their holiday. Elaine - working...
