Long Weekend in KL

Last weekend, we had our long weekend at KL, PJ. We took the chance to visit Uncle Franco & Aunt Janet. The first night, U. Franco brought us to Kepong area for dinner. We arrived quite late in the evening after our Sunday Service, as hubby was on duty till late afternoon. Both of us were borne tired after a 4 hours drive to KL, hence din snap any pic for that dinner... We wanted to taste the crab (Chili, curry & other typed of cooking style of crab) over at the restaurant, but the waitress mentioned there was no more crabs....!! It was only around 8pm..

We still had a sumptous dinner that night. What I loved most about the dish that night was curry vege....it is so different from what I have been taking...

The next day, Aunt Janet offered to bring us around PJ....We went to her home, to fetch her to shop around PJ. We went to "The Curve" and "One Utama"... The last time I visited KL was 4 - 5 years ago...din know that such a great changes....There was also new wing for One Utama...

We had our late late lunch at Paddington (house of Pancakes)

We took notice of alot of restaurants there...they brought in alot of nice restaurant from US. Beside TGIF, there was this restaurant called Bubba Gump....

They used a ping pong bat as their menu....very creative..

While we had out afternoon tea - "Little Cravings" at One U...we saw a pet shop, where mum and dad bought the bag for Bobby...we went it to visit ourselves and saw puppies....

On Monday night, I managed to meet up with my MSN kakis...hehe....we have been meeting up in MSN quite often...Met them over for dinner at "New Paris"...

The last day, before we headed back to Singapore, we visited Pavilion. It was opened by Tangs (Singapore). They have all the Singapore Brand retail shops...we felt like we were in Singapore...hehehe

Saw some interesting fact in one of the Jap restaurant, where his noodles maker display himself in making the hand made noodles...using Buckwheat.

The food Republic - Huge!!

Trist was urging me to visit the "Dragon I" restaurant...is a similar concept of Crystal Jade or our "Ding Tai Fung"....but this one is so much better than the mentioned restaurant!!

The MUST TRY Xiao Long Bao!!

Very Special Drink: Left (water chestnut drink), Right (Xi Yang Chai Herbal Tea)

This one is similar to "Wen Tong Ji" 's Fried Beancurd, but is 5 times tastier!!!
