The Jewel Box - Snow Show 09'

Christmas @ The Jewel Box
After a simple Christmas Dinner together, we headed to The Jewel Box at Mount Faber. I was viewing and searching around the Internet and found this place. Every year they will have the Snow Show. The place was quite packed with people. Family and friends gather over there at some nice and posh restaurant for their Christmas Dinner and then followed by the show that was played every alternate hours from 8pm to 11pm.

Overall experience : 6/10.
Comments:
The fake snow was made up of detergent if I'm not mistaken, which soaked our faces and all over the body when we were taking pics. The snow show was too short.

We had our first Christmas tree in our Home Sweet Home!! Finally!! It really cost a bomb to us! But we take it as our investment, for at least 4 years?? I took a blurred pics of our Christmas Tree...

"Ta....Dah......." Chio leh...ehehhehe

2009 Christmas will mark another significant moment of celebration...
To me, Christmas is a time of Thanksgiving, sharing and forgiving...

Both Hubby and I have been sharing our Christmas moments for almost a decade together. Is there any difference? Of coz... Each year is of greater glory and greater way of celebration..Will post more celebration events and moments in my next few blogs!!

While I was driving home after my customer visit, I was tuning in to Class 95'... I heard a Christmas Song sang by Celine Dion...

[Refer to my Youtube (video - Celine Dion - on my main Blog page)]

I love the most on the lyrics that I've highlighted in RED...... below

It is so true that 'All though it's been said many times many ways'
it is always the simple simple words we wish each other..... 'Merry Christmas'. Though it is simple, but it is so much essence of joy and peace when we said that to our family members, relatives, friends and colleagues!!

I was thinking to put this video up on my blog to share the joy and peace for this year Christmas...hope you guys enjoy them!!! I love you all!! Merry Christmas!!!

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire) - LYRICS

Chestnut's roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yule tide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like eskimos
Everybody knows
A turkey and some misletoe
Can help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight

They know that santa's on his way
He's loaded with toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mothers child is going to spy
To see if reigndeer really know how to fly
And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
All thought it's been said many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you

They know that santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mothers child is going to spy
To see if reigndeer really know how to fly
And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
All though it's been said many times many ways
Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas to you

Nov updates - Pre Christmas Gifts

Hubby has been eyeing to get the iMac for our home sweet home last year. I remembered that we were at Maldives when we were having our honeymoon and we took some interesting pictures together using the iMac - 'Photo booth'. We love the effect so much and we instantly fell in love with iMac. It did not give us any good excuse to get one until hubby home desktop and my laptop 'Disappear'..hahahha...

I told hubby that I really need a PC at home to blog as new company laptop is not so convenient as before... Hubby surprised me on a few sat ago by getting the 24" iMac!!! Thrilled!!! Cool!! I was so excited about this new Mac! Though both of us are so used to PC but we don't mind going through the learning curve for iMac...is really worth while!!

Temporary placing it at our dinning table. Need to do up the study room for this!

We had dinner with PF and his folks, coming all the way to Singapore from Philippines and US. Hubby and I felt so honored to host them for dinner over at Por Kee (Tiong Bahru - famous Chinese Zhi Char Restaurant). PF's mum has been aging gracefully. At the age of 80++ and she is still strong!! Hopefully we can see them again next year!

In return, PF and his siblings were so thankful for us hosting them that night, PF, his brother and sister got us shirt from EdHardy!!
