Sushi Tei & Boon Tong Kee

25th July 09 (Saturday - Night)

Dad called to have dinner together....we have always been having "Boon Tong Kee" at Upper Bukit Timah ....dad mentioned that...the one at River Valley Rd is more spacious...hence we headed for Chicken Rice dinner there...
We took 20 minutes to get a car park.....the place was just too difficult to get a car park lot...

These 2 Jugs of Barley & Lime Juice cost S$4/Jug before GST. These 2 Jugs could only feel up 5 small cups (only 3/4 filled). The pic here: the jug seems quite big, but...do not be deceived by the pic...it was actually a small small jug....

The place was just super crowded...alot of foreigners (saw a few groups of Koreans too) found eating the chicken rice here...

Spinach with salted egg & Fried toufu.

I believe they had mixed the mayo with wasabi. I dont like. The taste of the fried beancurd : 5.5/10, (I think the standard drop), or I am used to the one in Upper Bk Timah.

Fried Kang Kung with squid...

We also ordered half-roasted chicken and half traditional white chicken. If not, why come so far for chicken rice...hehehe..Frankly, the roasted chicken doesn't taste as nice as the traditional one.

We then went for our late late or super late lunch at Sushi Tei...I was still filled with morning Brunch. Hubby wanted to grab a bite.... After he came back from Japan...he seems to love & appreciate Jap food alot...

Princess Sharlyne

19th July 09 (Sunday)

Celebrated one full month for our dearest Princess Sharlyne...MIL was so delighted to welcome our little princess to our family...a newly added member to Ng's....

We had lunch together at SY and we headed straight back to SG.

18th July 09 (Saturday)

On Sat, MIL, FIL and Vince were back to Muar to give out the full month cakes (on behalf of Princess Sharlyne). Hubby, addy and I were back home..did'nt know what to do at home, we decided to shop around the lighting shops around to choose lightings for our Family New Home. Vince mentioned we needed to find a living room lights and also one at Car porch.

There you go....our "Light hunting day"...

Miss Xuan Xuan....din know she has been growing so fast....looks like a little lady now..she is the brightest Kid I ever knew in my life...smart, studious, and mind you, she is only 3 years old and she is already very good in her spelling and colours differentiation, in Eng & Chinese languages. Another thing that she is also very good is in, puzzles (in her age of 1 year plus, she was already playing puzzle up to 15 pieces and she did it in split seconds....bright gal....hope that my future kids will be like that in future....hehe...

Lights, Lights and more lights

We showed all the pics taken to our MIL. She managed to viewed it herself too...and had placed order on the lightings - both for car porch & living room....she gotten quite a good price too!!! Ultimate bargainer...

Medi & Pedi for me and Addy

Me and Addy had thought of like pampering ourselves whenever we can when we are back to BP. After viewing the lightings, we did a medi and pedi on the same day.....It costed only RM60....but it came with a heavy price to pay....we went high and low searching for a nail shop...At first, we went to Pacific Mall (The previous medi & Pedi that both of us went individually), and after hubby parked his car, and we went straight up to the nail shop...when we were there...the shop already close down....arrghhh...it was the third time, me and addy din get to do our nails there...the previous 2 times were because we did not do any booking reservation and was during CNY.

From there, I asked some of shop sales girls beside the shop, she mentioned to me that there was one in Carrefour. We drove all the way there...and later only found out, there was no nail shop there....we then went to Square one....a new mall in BP....sad to say that, even though it was a new mall...but dont have such shops too....me and addy were then asking people around again...not giving up our hope in beautifying ourselves...some sales girls asked us to try our luck outside the mall, where all the shophouses were...we had been walking and walking....and finally found 2 shops...!! We entered the newly opened shop, but there were only 2 arm rested sofa typed chair and were also occupied...Thank God there was another one opposite it. We went in to the other shop. It was not as nice as the first one..but we both were desperate to rest and want some pamper....so we just sat in and did our medi and pedi and some leg & foot massage treatment. I din manage to take any pic together....coz I was toooooooo tired...to do that....plus, after that my head was spinning...HEADACHE....at night was rushed to clinic .....was better after the medication....addy too fall sick after we came back from BP....
