Sautéed Mushrooms with Garlic ButterMakes four first-course servings.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 lb small white mushrooms, wiped clean and sliced in half
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Cooking Steps:
Melt butter with garlic, salt and pepper over low heat in a lidded sauté pan or skillet. Add mushrooms and toss with garlic butter to coat. Cover the pan and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally and making sure garlic doesn’t burn. Reduce heat to very low, if necessary. During the cooking process, the mushrooms will release their moisture. Most of this will steam away as they cook; what remains will become part of a lovely garlicky/buttery sauce.

Happy Birthday to you my dear. Like many other Birthdays we had celebrated, I believe yesterday celebration was another unforgettable one for the both of us. Thank you for everything that you have been providing to me and this family. Your love, your never ending concerns, your never ending encouragement, your loving advises, and your promises to this marriage, has always been the source of strength towards my life and the my love towards the people around me. It has been a fulfilling year for me after our wedding. Having you as my husband, my one & only Soul Mate & as my best friend is the most blessed thing in my entire life. When I am down and needed a place for shelter, you are the one that I always run to. You have always believe & show your confidence in me! I believe, my life would be very handicapped without you. A person like you, has added so much vibrancy into my routine. I'm sorry for my childish act & my nonsensical question at times...heheh... : )
Our love towards each other will never ever be a 'full stop' (end), 'question mark' (doubt) or an 'exclamation mark' (Anger)....but we will together build an 'Infinity Love Unit' into our joint Love Bank Account..Thank you hubby...I Love you...and Happy Birthday!!
We had a great church meeting this morning with Mrs. Cho (wife of Pst. Yonggi Cho). They are running a church of ~800,000 members (Yoido Full Gospel Church - world largest church in the world). She shared about 'Intecession'....very strong and impactful msg...
After the service, we went to the back of expo hall 8, to visit the 'Live House - Monopoly game' booth.
We have a few new friends that joined us today, they were both students, Anthony (from Vietnam) & Serene (from China - Sichuan)....both of the are the friends of Kate...we went through every station....of the game...H-A-R-V-E-S-T. It was quite a fun thing for all the new friends...They enjoyed most at the 2nd last station, where they played ' Don't forget the lyrics' ....Serene & Ada had challenged themselves to sing the "Pop Song" category. They sang a song by JJ.
