Bobby is in his 5th week tomorrow

Last week was quite a hectic week for me...was very busy with work and also some church activities. Had lunch together with some of the friends over 2 Sundays. Did not take alot of pics...hence decided not to post them..

What interest me the most last few days was the growth of baby bobby...he has grew tremendously...Didn't know that he could grow so fast...tomorrow will be his 5th week. Hubby and I took a few picture of him yesterday...
There you go...some of his picture...for Maltese lovers...you can view some of my baby bobby's pic here...

We have decided to start bathing him tomorrow. These 2 weeks, we had been using wipes to clean him up, as he was still delicate and young. We will be getting some shampoo and some other stuff for him to play this evening after work. Can't wait to see him being washed up by us..

Appreciation pressie From Se Na..

Met up with Kate & Se Na on Monday over at Plaza Singapura for a dinner at Mos Burger. Was too tired to take some pictures together. Se Na came back from her Trip from KL. It was her second time to Msia. She managed to meet up with some of her friends in KL. I was surprised to find out that a young korean girl has friends in Msia...

She is SooOO...sweet, gotten me an appreciation pressie...a box of Choc...

We went round to shop around...Kate suggested that to visit P.O.A (People of Asia) as she felt that the clothes over there are quite similar to the fashion in Korea. The clothes are very trendy. The last shop we went was "Outfitters Girls". Managed to get 1 piece of blouse there...I find it rather sweet...white halter neck top. My body doesn't goes well with Halter neck style, but when I tried this, I like it very much...after discount, it costs only S$34.20. Quite a good buy....

True Story: Winner of the Berlin Short Film Festival ..... Chicken Ala Carte

Strongly encourage you to pause for a second and watch this 6min video...

Have a good thought and soul searching of our life....

After watching this clip, what has gone through your mind??

World Population Counter

Wondering in this world, in this second, how many people has arrived into our home called earth...I was curious to know whether we took into account the no. of people coming and leaving this world, hence I decided to do some surfing on the Internet to check whether is there a counter for our world population. Last year, I did post a link, in my 'Multiply' website on the world population, but to my surprise, the one that I found here, is spelled out even more completely, with the no. of males, females, births, deaths....
It was rather interesting to see the numbers jumping up & down. On the other hand, what took me in surprise was, when I clicked on the Illness & Injury Incidence tab, I saw all the listed major sicknesses. They were in a quite alarming figures. For cancer, it took around 2 - 3 second to see an increase of 1 person. The fastest deceases spread, were the Malaria & Respiratory Infections. Traffic Accidents occur almost every seconds....It's real scary!!
The source of this world population counter was found from : http://www.poodwaddle.com/clocks2.htm . You can also view directly on this counter on the website: http://www.poodwaddle.com/worldclock.swf . I am not sure whether the stats provided in this link are accurate, but to me, it serves as a reminder, to cherish my love ones, and really living my life to the fullest...as I do not know what will happen tomorrow.
Proverbs 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.

I want to live my life to the fullest and with no regrets, how about you??

Arrival of Baby Bobby...18th Apr 09

Finally!! We brought baby bobby back to our home sweet home...

He was born on 27th Mar 2009....He is now almost 4 weeks this 24th Apr.

We bought him some food, milk bottle, wipes to clean him up...we are intending to get him some toys soon....right now, he has RUSS (my soft toy - beagle) with him...

I did not expect myself to love him so much... I treated him just like my family member...heheh...If you are wondering how come he has a little bit of brownish color on his body, it is because, his mum is a mix of Maltese and Shitzu, but dad is a pure breed Maltese. At first, I was a little disappointed that he is not totally white, but as times goes by, I find Bobby a unique Maltese...

SKIN FOOD

I walked passed a store name "SKIN FOOD" today at Jurong Point. At that moment, I was wondering it must be something similar to the "Body Shop" concept. The minute I walked in, I felt that I was walking into a organic food shop. The wall color and the products color were all in pastal colour...very comfortable. I saw all the products were very well displayed and there were also tags in front of every single displayed products. I saw a few items which drew my attention. One of them was the SKIN FOOD Foot Care Scrub. Most of the items are at affordable price. Lately, my feet are quite dry. Even with the lotion, it does not seems helping, hence, I decided to buy this, to scrub off the dead skin on my feet, before applying any cream. I did not take any pictures in the shop, but i went through their website the minute I came back from my lunch. To my surprise....I found 1 item that I am very familiar with. Hubby is also using one of their product, the "Yogurt Mask"... : ) I thought he bought from Body shop...but it was from SKIN FOOD...

I had also bought myself the 'Black Bean Nose Pack'. According to the sales girl, alot of her customers came back to buy more of these. She commented it is better than any other nose pack products in the market, especially the 'B...re'. I do not want to mention the product's name here, as it was her comment, not mine... : ) There are 7 pieces of Nose Pack inside. According to her, if we do not have lotsa black heads, just use this once a week. As usual, use it together with our cleanser and toner. The sales girl mentioned that it is effective in clearing all the black heads and also preventing the black heads from coming back. After hearing her recommendation, I decided to get a pack to try it out.

15th Apr 09 ....Cafe, Nike, Transporter 3, Cookware & Pet Dish...

After the lunch, before heading back, I managed to get my new pair of training shoes for my aerobic class, which I plan to start next week. There was a 40% discount for the Nike, perfect fit pants. It was quite worth the $$.... I was so excited....hee...

After work, hubby and I had reminded each other on the "Cold Storage" stickers that we had accumulated on the groceries that we have been buying. Largely contributed by the purchase of some tibits, chocolates, biscuits, abalone and some other stuff to wrap into hampers we bought last year ....By spending S$30, you will be given a stamp/sticker. We accumulated 42 stamps...

We had a simple dinner together yesterday night. We just cooked some instant noodles using this newly redeemed cookware!! After dinner, hubby rented the movie, "Transporter 3". We missed this great movie in cinema the last round, hence, the moment we spotted this movie at the "CINENOW" kiosk. Immediately we went for it...No popcorn...but we had the movie with ruffles...heehee...

Since, we were at cold storage yesterday, we went to the pet shop once again....as this sat, we are going to bring back baby bobby....we bought him a pet dish... According to hubby, he is now in his 4th week...

4 more days...arrival of Baby Bobby...

A few months ago, hubby was on this mission, in looking for a Maltese puppy...he wanted to have a pet so badly. He went searching high and low on the Internet on this particular breed of puppy. At first, I did not allow him to have a pet at home, as I was a little concern over the hygiene and also cleanliness at home. Hubby mentioned that he will ensure that our love hut will be kept clean even with "Bobby"...
Why Bobby?? Hubby shared that he used to have a dog named Bobby during his childhood days. But Bobby was stolen by someone back then. He was sadden by it a few days. They had another dog after Bobby, but was again stolen, from then, hubby didn't own any dog anymore...
These few weeks, we went to some pet shop, to look around on the things that we should be ready, for the arrival of "Bobby"....To our surprise...having a puppy is like having a baby too...we saw the milk bottles for puppies....milk powder ....and lotsa puppy stuffs which are equivalent to having a baby.... : )
I still could not imagine my love hut with a white puppy still...wonder what will my life be after having Bobby...."there you go...another commitment".....but i hope he will enjoy staying with us...and he would be a good dog...

I was searching some of the picture of Maltese puppy these few days and I found some very cute pictures of Maltese.
The below images are the growing progress of a Maltese puppy...from 1 week to 5 weeks old...Amazing

From left to right: (1st week, 2nd week)

From left to right & to bottom: (3rd week, 4th week & 5th week)

Wonder how baby Bobby looks like.....we shall await for his arrival....18th April 09...(will then upload more of his pictures)...

Family Dinner with Aunt Janet cum belated get together celebration with Tristant..

We had a very belated celebration with Trist yesterday as a family. As Aunt Janet came visiting us for a week, hence we had a mini dinner gathering together cum belated Birthday celebration for Trist. Mum promised Trist that she wants to treat him to some good food. Hence, Trist found this restaurant at Carnhill. We went to the Garuda Padang Cuisine (by Tung Lok) at Carnhill. I managed to take some pictures of the restaurant. The food image posted just right below here, was from the internet. I like the spacious environment over at the branch at Carnhill, unlike the one at Vivo City, is not as spacious as the one at Carnhill.

Garuda Padang - Cairnhill

Tel : +65 6735 4111 Fax : +65 6735 4222

Some of the pictures I took at the restaurant...I like the layout of the restaurant and also the lightings they used....it was very welcoming, I felt.

This was the ceiling lamp we saw...and we were quite facinated by this display...

I only managed to get some pictures of a "couple couple" style. Should have gotten the group pictures.

From (Left to right: Jeniffer with granny, and Granny with Aunt Janet)

The married couples (mum & dad, and of coz me and hubby)

We love the fried chicken, yum yum....Trist also got a red packet from Aunt Janet.

Food Review:
We paid around S$22+++ per person for this ala carte buffet. I would say that it was quite worth the price, but the food was so so only....the food were quite salty....
Is a good place for gathering of friends, but if you would like to have a very good spread of peranakan food, I would say there are some other places that serves better spread....example the "Blue Ginger"....
