It has been a while since we all last met, for gatherings and celebrations. We all met up again yesterday (Sat, 4th April 09) to celebrate belated birthdays of Xue Qing (Shanzee), Xue Zhen (Renee) & Lee Lin (Chloe). The twins birthday falls on 28th of March where as Lee Lin's birthday is on april fool day....
Lee suggested that we should meet up and have a fun gathering together, either at Settlers's cafe, or Minds cafe. Both me and Lee had tried "Minds", but we have not tried Settler's. Hence, we decided to try out Settler's.
We played the monkey stick game...which i don't know what it is called....anyway...nvm....we all had fun....

We had the LOSERSSSS.....hehe....all of them were "MONKEYS" .....
We bought a combo set. 6 Drinks plus a set of finger food (pic below), with 2 hours of game time. It cost S$52, which is quite reasonable.
We then played the second game....which is similar to snap....but instead of snapping it, we "SNATCH"....Lee's was not in the pic, as she was a little slow in this game...hehe...ADMIRALTY against TAMPINES....hahaha...In the end, we won!! Of coz the winner goes to ADMIRALTY (Qing, Zhen & I)...
As Easter is around the corner....Zhen prepared each and every one of us a packet of easter egg choc bundle....So Sweet of her...Thanks Zhen.

After Settlers, June had to finish up her assigment at the National Library. We sent her off to the nearest bus stop. Without any plannings, the four of us then decided to shop around at "The Central". I was a little hungry at that time, hence, we went to TCC (The Coffee Connoisseur) thinking of grabbing a bite there. We left TCC after a few minutes, as opposite TCC, we saw all the artificial displayed of different variety of Spagetti...It was just too tempting. We then decided to settle our so called "Afternoon Tea" with dinner at Paste De Waraku....
The menu was filled with so many types of pasta....and we almost order everything from the 3 different menus that were on our table...We decided to share the orders...
We ordered 2 soups (the corn & the clam).....of coz the clam was tastier...
We were tempted with the thin-made pizza (Carbonara). The essence of the egg with the carbonara sauce on the crispy made thin pizza was a great combination. With the baked bacon, it was simply YUMMY. The fried toufu (Crispy on the outside, mouth melting in the inside....with the special sweet sauce...it was very unique I must say...
The fried Crispy Salmon was so so...We too ordered clam pasta. The clams were all very tasty and sweet....it went very well with the special chopped Green chili mixed with olive oil...(recommended by Qing).
Qing wanted us to try the Black Squid pasta.....it tasted very "seafood". They took one of my picture of my "black Squid-coated Lips".... The look was too awful....I did not post it here... : ) We all agreed that this will not be a good choice to order on your first date...
The Lemon Squash that I ordered was HIGHLY filled with concentrated squashed lemon. It was soooooOoooo *sour*....but it was good for my digestion after all these food...

We are going to meet up again in May....to celebrate June's & my birthday...Hopefully we are able to meet up...
