Yesterday, I took half day leave for a special friend of mine. She came all the way from my hometown from Malaysia to have a day visit to Spore + visiting her friends in JB too...
Met Carin at Bugis MRT and headed to get shoes!!! ahha...Both of us needed to buy a new pair of shoes. She was on heels that caused her alot of pain - due to constant walking and of coz shopping, and my mules were also spoiled. That gave us a very good reason to shop for brand new shoes!!! ahhaa...We went to 'rubi' and I had bought a new pair and changed into a new one on the spot. Carin did not get any suitable one for her there. As both of us were hungry, we headed for our late lunch.
We had long and never ending chat during our sushi buffet at Sakae Sushi. We left the restaurant with our filled stomach and decided to walk around in search for Carin's new pair of sandal to ease her pain! We went to 'BHG' and was at the departmental store of 'Americaya'. Carin finally managed to change her 'suffering foot' to 'relaxed foot'. She gotten a 'peep toe'. Looked great on her. Most importantly she finally could 'let down her hair'....phew.....
Bugis Street was then our next destination. We went to look at the latest street fashion. I had not shop for street wear for quite some time. Both of us din manage to get any, as we were out for a short meet up, and our meet up was not really for shopping. We then headed to Iluma for our tea break. It was both our first visit to Iluma. We went straight up to the very top level, and found there were lotsa restaurant. They seems to be new concept restaurants. As we just wanted something to drink, we headed to Cheeky Chocolate. Without knowing what was installed inside, we went in to explore in that small and cosy cafe. There you go.....some pics in 'Cheeky Choc'.
