Hubby's Bday Celebration...21st May 2010

Happy Birthday Hubby....
It was a surprise to hubby...I took a half day off that day and went to the Scarlet - it is a boutique hotel near Tanjong Pagar. I prepared everything for hubby. A few days ago, I went to make all the necessary arrangement with the hotel staff, the menu was also designed specially for him....

Hubby was delighted and was very surprised by my arrangement that evening... We both enjoyed so much, especially the food..We heard from the Chef; Mr. Alexis that the management would be doing some changes in this restaurant. They might scrap this idea - 'Desire' restaurant to another type. It might not be another fine dinning anymore.


FOREST MUSHROOM SOUP (topped with truffle milk foam)


Amuse Bouche: HOKKAIDO SCALLOP (tataki of hokkaido scallop with greens and soyu marinated ikura laced with seaweed vinaigrette)



COD FISH FILLET (Oven baked cereal and spice crust on seasonal vegetables sauteed in soy and mirin sauce)


BEEF MEDALLION (with sauteed wild mushrooms and ratte potato paired with veal jus)



CHICKEN TRUFFLE (Oven roasted chicken thigh with sauteed broccoli and truffle cream sauce)

Happy birthday hubby! Thank you for everything that u have been doing to make me a better woman!! Love u lotsa!! We ll contimue to romance n celebrate evry details of our life together...
